Dyslexic and Proud
I have often wondered if I have two things (unrelated): sleep apnea and dyslexia. Why sleep apnea? Because I’m tired most of the time, and I’ve been told I have extremely irregular breathing patterns when I sleep. Why dyslexia? I consistently transpose numbers (even though I dominate at math), and it’s really easy for me to say/spell words backwards like “bat” and “tab”.
If I have sleep apnea, then I should probably either wear a breathe right strip over my nose, or I should go to the doctor and get head gear and learn to sleep on my back. If I have dyslexia, then I may not need to do anything about it. I just read an article in the New York times, Tracing Business Acumen to Dyslexia. Basically, it says I’d be a magnificent entrepreneur. I came across this article on Learning at Light Speed, a blog about anything related to learning faster. You should check it out.
